D.N. Russell, rider of Sean Airgead, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Jerusalem Bells, trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped in running.

Patrick Eamonn Corbett, rider of The Drunken Dr trained by Niall Moran, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined The Drunken Dr, trained by Niall Moran, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal(samples taken for analysis).

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving King Blue, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second and Vision Du Coeur (FR), ridden by J.S. McGarvey, placed third. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

The Stewards fined Peter Fahey, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Tiger Bay Lady, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
