The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.E.Lynch replaced B.M. Cash on Sizing India, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper (Race 5)(non runner)

112A KildareHuntClub Supp Kildare GAA Mdn Hdl

D.N. Russell, rider of High Stratos (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly throughout.

The Stewards interviewed P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Man Of Erin, regarding the late arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 32(ii) and cautioned him accordingly.

The Stewards fined W. McCreery, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Fourni, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards fined P.J. Rothwell, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Man Of Erin, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of High Stratos (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge lost a hind shoe in running.

112B Musgrave SuperValu M'dn H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Michael McCullagh, trainer of Slygufftou, concerning the fact that the passport was not lodged in time for this horse, which resulted in the horse being withdrawn from this race. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 90 and fined him €350.

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving Festival Opera, ridden by A.E. Lynch, unplaced, Rudolf, ridden by R. Loughran unplaced and Star Power, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found the video evidence to be inconclusive and took no action. However, they were of the opinion that R.Loughran was in breach of Rule 272, after giving misleading evidence and having considered his record,suspended him for one race day.

A.E. Lynch, rider of Festival Opera trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

112C Haven Hire Supporting Kildare Hcap H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Bourbon Ellie trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst blood vessels in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Isle View, at the request of trainer, Jason Cairns, and reported the animal to be sore post race.

112E Agnelli Motor Park Jeep Beginners Schase

A.E.Lynch, rider of Sizing India, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount tired in the closing stages and was held together, it being his first run after a break.

112F Laois Hire Supp Kildare GAA Hcap S'chase

W. Harney, trainer of Kakagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge did not act on the ground.

112G Representatives KildareGAA INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined David Harry Kelly, trainer, €350 for failing to lodge a passport in respect of Oldcourt, in accordance with Rule 90. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

Miss J.M. Mangan, rider of Jesse's Oscar trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a respiratory noise and stopped quickly in the straight.
