The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr P.W Mullins replaced Ms N. Carberry on Gunnery Sergeant, trained by Noel Meade (Race 7)(Unwell)

A. Ring, rider of Erins Pride, trained by P.Meany, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked his jaw and ran off the track soon after the start.

283B Panoramic Restaurant Hospitality Hcp Hdl

The Stewards fined J.A. Nash, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Comehere Hi, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Annie Alainn trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with some interference on the approach to the final hurdle.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Whatever It Takes, trained by Niall Madden, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

N.P. Madden, rider of Whatever It Takes, trained by Niall Madden, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled from flagfall.

283F Ingoldsby (QR) H'cap S'chase

The Stewards received a report from P.L. Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr S. Clements , rider of Our Sox , weighed in at 1.6 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had shed a few pounds to ride at the declared weight but had a cup of tea after weighing out to rehydrate. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr S. Clements was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for 1 raceday.
