The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cape Clear Island, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Breezolini (GB), at the request of trainer, Muredach Kelly, and reported the animal to have a loose left fore shoe post race .

203C Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

W.M. Lordan, rider of Words Of A Prophet, trained by David Wachman, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled on leaving the stalls.

203D Tipper Road Rated Race

The Stewards fined Muredach Kelly, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Befortyfour (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Bilderberg, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

J.T.Gorman, trainer of Snap Click, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge ran very freely as a result of having first time blinkers applied.

203G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Chicago Girl, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third, Nidhaam (GB), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth and Sweetest Taboo, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, where it appeared Chicago Girl suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

I.T. Queally, rider of Not Just Any Girl, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very green, hung right off bend into the straight and stayed on well towards the finish.

W.J. Lee, rider of Sweetest Taboo, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right off the home bend and up the home straight.

Ms. Maria Kelly, trainer of Definitely Best, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday, 5th August, that her charge was found to have burst a blood vessel during the running of the race.
