The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.L. Joyce rode Furacano (reserve) , trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy (Race 3)

257A Tote Jackpot Guarantee M'dn

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Intisaab (GB), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed first and Chiclet, ridden by P.K. Donovan, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action. Ms Tracey Collins trainer of Chiclet accompanied P.K. Donovan, Apprentice Jockey, at this enquiry

257B Frank O'Leary Memorial M'dn

F.M. Berry, rider of King Schultz (GB) trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the home straight.

257C Speedy's Bars Moyvane&Ballylongford Hcap

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the final bend involving Beat The Ballot, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed fourth, Equation Of Time (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed first and High Hill Beauty, ridden by I.T. Queally, unplaced, where it appeared High Hill Beauty ran short of room when racing on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.

T.P. Madden, rider of Sparkee Sakhee (GB), trained by Denis Leahy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount checked off heels on the final bend, cocked his jaw and ran wide into the straight.

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Pivy's Pride (GB), trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Stewards requested a report from Garvan Donnelly, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Equation Of Time (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Garvan Donnelly reported that his charge benefitted from todays tight turning track and the fast underfoot ground conditions compared to the straight mile at the Curragh. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

257D Behans Horseshoe Bar & Restaurant H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend past the stands involving Giant's Quest (AUS), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth and Gypsy King, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, unplaced, where it appeared Gypsy King met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion any blame and took no further action.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Gypsy King, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

257G Devon Inn Hotel H'cap H'dle

D.J. Casey, rider of Point Of Rescue, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount sustained a bad cut behind during this race.

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Magical Moon (GB), trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped in the latter stages of this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Point Of Rescue, trained by J.A. Nash, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have been struck into left hind.
