The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.P. Fogarty replaced M.A. Enright on Windsor Queen, trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs (Race 1)(Injured).
M.P. Fogarty replaced M.A. Enright on Vinnie Trenta, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan (Race 2)(Injured).
K.C. Sexton replaced M.A. Enright on The Housekeeper, trained by David Harry Kelly (Race 3)(Injured).
A.P. Heskin replaced M.A. Enright on Rightville Boy, trained by Patrick Neville (Race 4)(Injured).
S.J. Hassett replaced M.A. Enright on Molly's Boy (GB), trained by Edward Cawley (Race 6)(Injured).

346B Parkway Shopping Centre M'dn H'dle

B.F. Cawley, rider of Agent James trained by C.F. Swan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Raystown trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running and was pulled up.

346C Liberty Insurance Novice H'dle

S.E. Butler, rider of Lots Of Memories trained by P.G. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action and was pulled up.

346D Ryans Cleaning H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Turf Club Starter, Mr P.F. Graffin, that A. Ring, rider of Dazzlers Day (FR), M.J. Ferris, rider of Special Token and K.C. Sexton, rider of Seancill Oir had failed to comply with his instructions and consequently he had to call two false starts. Evidence was heard from the starter and riders concerned. Riders N.P. Madden and A.P. Heskin also attended this enquiry and stated that there was great trust in Mr P.F. Graffin as a Starter. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that both M.J. Ferris and A. Ring were in breach of Rule 208. The Stewards suspended M.J. Ferris for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration. They also suspended A. Ring for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration. The Stewards did not charge K.C. Sexton with any breach of rule and therefore took no further action.

A.D. Leigh, rider of Grey Chimneys trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount choked in running and was pulled up.

346F Emmett Leahy Mem. Veterans H'cap S'chase

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr P.L. Malone, that Mr K.E. Power, rider of Duers, had weighed in 2.2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had a drink after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr K.E. Power was in breach of Rule 231 and therefore cautioned him having taken his good previous record into consideration.
