The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

H. Morgan rode Millbow Quest (reserve), trained by S.J. Treacy (Race 1).
D. J. O'Keeffe rode Round The Buoy (GB) (reserve), trained by David Peter Dunne (Race 5).
P. T. Enright replaced D. Meyler on Gracefull Grace, trained by Shane Crawley (Race 2)(injured)
J. J. Slevin replaced D. Meyler on Westernerona, trained by Garrett James Power (Race 5)(Injured).
L. P. Dempsey replaced D.N. Russell on Oak Park, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 1)(Injured).
B. J. Cooper replaced D.N. Russell on Battle Of Wills, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(Injured).
L. P. Dempsey replaced D.N. Russell on Avanzi, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(injured).

159A Connolly's Red Mills M'dn H'dle

L. P. Dempseyl, rider of Oak Park trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Oak Park, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame left fore.

The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board Verterinary Officier that Royal Aide, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the stewards fined Denis Gerard Hogan €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(vi).

159B1 Goffs Supporting Irish Racing M'dn H'dle

T. Ryan, rider of Gallowglass trained by Stephen Ryan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise after the third last.

L. P. Dempsey, rider of Avanzi trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up lame.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Peres Et Fils, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Peres Et Fils trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount did not travel or handle the ground.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Mountain Gale trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount may have burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mountain Gale, trained by David Harry Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nose possibly due to impact.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Battle Of Wills, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

159D Holden Plant Rentals H'cap H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Presenting Cody trained by Kieran Purcell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran off the bend.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Sois Gentil (FR) trained by C.A.McBratney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up lame.

159E Golf Open Days At Gowran Park H'cap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kilkishen, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on it's right hind post race.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Kilkishen trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never let himself down on the ground.

159G Visit Kilkenny.ie INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Miss A. Corrado, rider of Balinaboola Jer, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Miss. A. Corrado in breach of Regulation 10.3 (b) , the unnecessary hitting of a horse after it's chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone and (h), the use of the whip with the arm above shoulder height. Having considered Miss. Corrado's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned Miss. Corrado on this occasion and advised her to familiarise herself with the relevant regulations for the future.
