301A Gowran Park Racing Club Nursery H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Baron Wild, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Baron Wild trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle today's going.

M.A. Enright, rider of Stamp Of Authority trained by Ian O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls when they opened.

The Stewards requested a report from Augustine Leahy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Drombeg Duke, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Daniel Wisniewski, authorised representative for the trainer, stated that the slower ground today coupled with the application of first time cheek pieces had helped to bring about the improvement in form when compared to its most recent run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

301C Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving King Of The Castle, ridden by C. T. Keane and McPherson, ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared that there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

301D Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Martinique (GB), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Aurora Princess, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Halla Rince, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed sixth and Omakase, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fifth, where it appeared that Aurora Princess got tight for room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave M. P. Sheehy the benefit of the doubt and took no further action other than to advise M. P. Sheehy to ride with more awareness in the future.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rockview Empress, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S. Foley, rider of Pachmena trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struggled on todays going.

The Stewards interviewed Nikita Amelia Kane, rider of Sasvana (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Nikita Amelia Kane in breach of regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Nikita Amelia Kane's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned her on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pendant, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Stewards, R.P. Whelan, rider of Golden Treat, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action going to the first bend.

The Stewards reviewed an incident about a furlong and a half from home involving Impossible, ridden by N. G. McCullagh and Lady Ironside, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared that there was contact between the two. Having reviewed the recording and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

301G Gowran Park Golf Memberships 2021 H'cap

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Snegurochka trained by Ms.M.Dowdall Blake, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Dawn Over Owning trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
