The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J. S. Bolger, trainer of Croi Na Feile (USA) (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche rode Sweet Refusal (reserve) , trained by Michael Mulvany (Race 2)
F. Lynch rode Shukhov (reserve) , trained by J.F. Levins (Race 2)

246A Donnelly's Of Barna EBF M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Frozen Lake (USA), trained by John M. Oxx, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle the track.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Frozen Lake (USA), trained by John M. Oxx, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

246B Maggie May's Loughrea H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Sweet Refusal, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action in running and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sweet Refusal, trained by Michael Mulvany, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on her left hind post race.

246E Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ebeyina, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

246G Sean Cleary Memorial M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the final bend involving Asbury Boss, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, Vivat Rex, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed first and Lettre De Cachet (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared that Lettre De Cachet (GB) met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about 150 yards from the finish involving Asbury Boss, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, Vivat Rex, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed first and Wrap Star, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed fourth, where it appeared that Asbury Boss ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
