The Stewards fined Adrian Brendan Joyce, trainer, €130 for lodging a passport in respect of New Country, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.J. Casey, rider of Drumlee trained by C.F. Swan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly to the left throughout.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Drumlee, trained by C.F. Swan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Andrew J.McNamara, rider of Sli Na Fiarana (GB) trained by Ms. Joanna Morgan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen to the start. In running she was settled towards the rear, made mistakes, met with interference at the third last hurdle and stayed on for a hands and heels ride.

D.E. Splaine, rider of Maximum Feat trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount struck into himself in running and finished lame.

P.T. Enright, rider of Never Said That trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out in running, was unable to quicken when squeezed, made a mistake at the last and stayed on at the same speed.

303C Premier Jump Racing Weekend H'cap H'dle

The Stewards intended to enquire into the reason why D.J. Benson nominated rider for Amala in this race and Alright Benny in the sixth race was unable to do the correct weight and requests were made for him to be replaced on both of his mounts. As D.J. Benson had left the track he was unavailable to attend a Stewards enquiry. The Stewards, therefore, referred this matter to the Chief Executive of the Turf Club.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Fernhurst Lad, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
