The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

I.T. Queally rode Dragon Fei (reserve) , trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin (Race 6)
G.J. Phillips rode Thornfield (reserve) , trained by Desmond McDonogh (Race 6)
C.D. Hayes replaced C. O'Donoghue on Heart In The Air, trained by A. Oliver (Race 7)(Stewards Permission - original mount non runner)

123A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Spirit Of Wedza, ridden by W.M. Lordan, Itorio, ridden by M.C. Hussey, Whip Up A Frenzy, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Havanna Belle, ridden by C.P. Hoban, Splashtop, ridden by F. Lynch, Way Of Light, ridden by W.J. Lee, all unplaced and Jack Naylor (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed second, where it appeared interference took place and Spirit Of Wedza, Itorio and Havanna Belle had to check.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion any interference that took place was as a result of general bunching and so they took no further action.

123B Lyrath Estate 13th July Rated Race

C.D. Hayes, rider of Suite trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled a shoe in running.

S. Foley, rider of Wind Inher Sleeves (USA), trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled in this race.

J.P. O'Brien, rider of The Islander, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost his action behind after about 150 yards and was pulled up.

123C Fairyhouse Welcomes Eventers H'cap

F. Lynch, rider of Breezolini (GB) trained by Muredach Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

S.M.Duffy, trainer of Basilica (GB), reported to the Turf Club Veterinary Officer that his charge was found to have a respiratory tract infection on endoscopic examination post race.

123D Follow Fairyhouse Twitter Med.Auct. M'dn

F. Lynch, rider of Danz Gift, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green, ran too free early and was difficult to steer and was eased in home straight.
Danz Gift was subsequently examined by the Turf Club Veterinary Officer at the request of the Stewards and was found to be blowing hard post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Timiyan (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Post Race Normal.

123F Book Stag Or Hen Party Apprentice H'cap

S. Corby, rider of Undecided trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got unbalanced at a ridge after about 1 furlong.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr Ion Hamilton, regarding the fact that Caroline Murtagh, rider of Fiftyshadesofred, unplaced, weighed in 3lb light after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from Mr Thomas Reilly, authorised representative of Miss Tracy M. Reilly, trainer.
Caroline Murtagh stated her saddle slipped after turning into the home straight but was unaware she had lost a pad and lead cloth until she got back in after the race.
Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Fiftyshadesofred as per Rule 231 and took no further action.
