318A Premier Jump Weekend Nov 29th & 30th Hdl

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Aklan, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

318B Christmas Party At Fairyhouse M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Henry de Bromhead, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Budtairis, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.T. Kelly, rider of Cinder Rua, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b) and 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive force and frequency and when his chance of winning or being placed had clearly gone. Having considered the riders record, he was suspended for ten race days and ordered to attend RACE for one day's tuition on the correct use of the whip.

318C Fairyhouse Schooling Grounds H'cap H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Miss Elizabeth Doyle, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Broadway Twist, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Barry Murphy stated that the horse has not being finishing out her races and that today's application of a tongue tie had contributed to the improved form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

318D Fairyhouse Membership 2015 M'dn H'dle

M.A. Enright, rider of What A Island trained by Kevin McDonagh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Uncle Paddys Hill trained by Mrs Gillian Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

318F Irish Grand National @Fairyhouse Hcp Hdl

The Stewards interviewed K.C. Sexton, rider of Triplets Joy, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for three race days.

P.T. Enright, rider of Knock Beauty, trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
