321B Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay M'dn

F.M. Berry, rider of Mianya Return, trained by William J. Fitzpatrick, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount came off the bridle before turning into the home straight, lost her action and started to hang and was eased thereafter.

321D Crowne Plaza Jockey&Trainer Rated Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving He's Got Rhythm, ridden by F. Lynch, unplaced and Maude Adams, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth, where it appeared He's Got Rhythm suffered slight interference and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised CD Hayes to ride with more care in future.

321F(i) Dundalk Stadium On Facebook H'cap (Division One)

The Stewards enquired into 2 incidents in this race, the first incident early in the home straight involving Hello Humpfrey, ridden by R.P. Downey, winner and La Oliva, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, where it appeared La Oliva suffered interference and had to check, and the second incident after the finishing line involving Hello Humpfrey, ridden by R.P. Downey, winner, Wagadoogoochoochoo, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second and Lilly The Lioness, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed third, where it appeared both Wagadoogoochoochoo and Lilly the Lioness suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Mr E. Lynam, trainer and master of R.P. Downey. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion R.P. Downey was in breach of Rule 214 in both instances in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his inexperience and his good record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

321F(ii) Dundalk Stadium On Facebook H'cap (Division Two)

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Golan Heights, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, and Vim, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, where it appeared Golan Heights suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having taken his good record into account, they severely cautioned him.

L.P. Dempsey, rider of Kalafina, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount became unbalanced after turning into the home straight and collided with the running rail.
