John Geoghegan, trainer of The Dancing Lord (GB), reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 22nd December that his charge burst blood vessels following this race.

337D Leading Jockey&Trainer Awards 2014 H'cap

J.L. Joyce, rider of Taaluf, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared up on leaving the stalls and the nearside leather on his saddle came undone when he was getting into stride.

337E Winter Series At Dundalk Apprentice Hcap

S. Corby, rider of Waterloo Sunrise, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported at a Stewards' enquiry that his saddle slipped forward early in this race and he was unable to be of much assistance to his mount.

The Stewards enquired into an incident early in the straight involving Waterloo Sunrise, ridden by S. Corby, unplaced, Danequest, ridden by L.F. Roche, unplaced, Miss Mitigate (GB), ridden by D. O'Brien, unplaced and Rising Euro, ridden by C.P. Hoban, unplaced, where it appeared that Waterloo Sunset ran short of room on the inside and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that both C.P. Hoban and D. O'Brien had contributed to the interference and consequently severely cautioned both riders. Furthermore the Stewards cautioned S. Corby for failing to report that his saddle had slipped, this being a breach of rule 213. D. O'Brien and S. Corby were accompanied by Adrian Guinness and Patrick Duffy respectively at this enquiry.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the first furlong of this race involving Halarath, ridden by O.J. Orr, unplaced and Bomber Jackson, ridden by R.P. Whelan, where it appeared Bomber Jackson clipped a heel and unseated his rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that O.J. Orr had caused the incident by riding carelessly and consequently suspended him for 2 racedays. Charles Moore trainer of Halarath attended this enquiry with O.J. Orr.

The Stewards informed J. L. Hassett, trainer that Mystery Again, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Comedy Club, trained by Charles O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Report.
