P.J. Smullen, rider of Cleveland Street, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and raced reluctantly.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cleveland Street, trained by John James Feane, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

075B Hen & Stag Packages At Dundalk H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Little Fastnet, trained by David Wachman, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

075C Patton Stakes

C.P. Hoban, rider of Suite, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in running.

075D Dundalk Racecourse Of The Year H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Hellenistic (USA), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed third, Jackie Ellis, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, Tom Dooley, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, Meihua, ridden by F.M. Berry, placed second and Princess Tamay, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings, however they were of the opinion that P.J.
Smullen was in breach of Rule 214, having ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, suspended him for two race days.

075E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

J.P. O'Brien, rider of Ruby Tuesday, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well before stopping quickly in the straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ruby Tuesday, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making a respiratory noise post race.

075F Mid-Term Madness At Dundalk Stadium Hcap

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of General Bunching (USA), concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he used the whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.
