The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

277A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fund Race

The Stewards interviewed Adrian O'Shea, rider of Mc Diamond, placed third, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Adrian O'Shea was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that he used his whip with excessive frequency, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

277C Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Nursery

T.P. Madden, rider of Perfect Fit, trained by David Wachman, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got unbalanced down the back straight and collided with the running rail.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Not Really, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically normal.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Gun Shoot, ridden by C.T. Keane, Victor's Beach, ridden by S.B. Kelly, Brog Deas Nua (USA), ridden by C.P. Hoban, and Calle Aneto, ridden by R.P. Whelan, where it appeared Gun Shoot and Brog Deas Nua (USA) suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion any interference was accidental and they took no further action.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Waterloo Sunrise, ridden by C. O'Donoghue, winner, Havelock Ellis (GB), ridden by F. Lynch, placed third, Indigo Iris, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth and War Room, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed fifth, where it appeared Indigo Iris and War Room suffered slight interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges' placings and took no further action.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Quick Succession (USA), trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.
