The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

I.J. McCarthy replaced K.C. Sexton on Tillargon (GB), trained by Anthony Mulholland (Race 5)(Injured).

The Stewards granted permission for fence #7 to be omitted from all steeplechases.

023B N.I. Hotels Federation Beginners S'chase

M.A. Enright, rider of Forever Gold trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the heavy ground.

023C Martinstown Opportunity H'cap S'chase

B.R. Dalton, rider of Castle Anshan trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and subsequently pulled up.

023D Sean Graham Bookmakers M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs out involving Quickasyoucan, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed fourth and Shuilamach, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed third, where it appeared that Shuilamach was tight for room when racing on the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered the incident to be accidental and took no further action.

023E Bet With The Tote H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference between the penultimate and last hurdles and again after the last hurdle involving Gold Not Silver, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first and Court Jester, ridden by J.S. McGarvey, placed second, where it appeared that both horses had got close together in each incident. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Ram trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount showed reluctance in running and pulled himself up.

023F Weatherbys Novice H'cap H'dle

S.A. Shortall, rider of Roman General trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled on the heavy ground.
