The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Joseph G. Murphy, trainer of Vert De Grece (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.J. Philips replaced P.K. Donovan on Pencil Hill, trained by Tracey Collins (Race 3)(Injured)
K.J. Manning replaced R.P. Whelan on Einsteins Folly, trained by J. S. Bolger (Race 4)(Stewards permission)

136A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Cape Clear Island, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed second, Cape Wolfe (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed third, Popularity, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced and Yulong Xiongfeng, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, where it appeared that Popularity ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that while interference had taken place, they were unable to apportion any blame and therefore took no further action.

136C TRI Equestrian Superstore & Cafe H'cap

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Elusive In Paris, trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount became fractious in the stalls and missed the break badly.

136D TRM Silver Stakes

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Indigo Lady (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, they suspended him for two race days. Furthermore the Stewards found that the rider was in breach of Rule 213, in that he had failed to report that his mount hung in running until questioned during the enquiry and severely cautioned him concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

136G TRM Excellence In Equine Nutrition M'dn

The Stewards interviewed J.P. O'Brien, rider of Gypsy King, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for one race day.

E. D. Delany, trainer of Zarma, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 9th June that his charge was found to be in season post race.

136H Nathan Carter At The Derby Festival M'dn

C. O'Donoghue, rider of Law Equity (FR) trained by P.D. Deegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount felt intermittently lame on the near fore and did not move fluently.
