The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Hurricane Cliff (Ground Conditions) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche replaced D.P. McDonogh on Nobel Joshua (AUT), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 7)(Unwell)
A.J. Slattery replaced M.P. O'Connor on Gatsby Cap, trained by J.A.Stack (Race 2)(Unwell)

The Stewards requested a report from J.A.Stack, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Lady Wannabe, placed first, as compared with its only previous run. The trainer reported that he could offer no explanation for the previous run.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Inajuma trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got checked in the straight and was never going afterwards.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the opening turn involving Jewel Maker, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Fastar, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, Magnetic North, ridden by R.C. Colgan, and Stormy Air (GB), ridden by K.J. Leonard, where it appeared Stormy Air (GB) got tight for room and was forced to check significantly. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Stormy Air (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly interfered with on the opening turn.

L.F. Roche, rider of See Of Rome (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left.

065F Corkracecourse.ie Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards fined Michael C.Connell, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Candle In The Wind, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Candle In The Wind in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Lightsider trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was flat out all the way.
