The following trainers were fined €200 for the non-notification of a Veterinary Certificate in accordance with the provision of Rule 194(v) (vi):

S.T.Nolan for Karlidi (USA) at Cork 20th April 2014.

Denis Gerard Hogan for Honest Rodge at Cork 20th April 2014.

078A Father's Day Racing June 15th M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Paul Nolan, trainer, €130 for lodging a passport in respect of Kelvin, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

D.J. Condon, rider of Knight's Parade, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Stewards interviewed Mr. T.V.O'Connell, Clerk of the course,Mr. Michael O'Neill, Racecourse Manager and Mr. Maurice O 'Brien, Track Foreman, in relation to the circumstances which lead to the description of 'Soft' being used to describe the ground conditions, prior to the first race. Evidence was heard from the parties concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the Turf Club for full investigation, with a request that the findings be published in the racing calender.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Knight's Parade, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a nasal discharge post race.

Mrs Denise Foster, trainer of Simple Joys (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was showing signs of being in season post race.

078B Summer BBQ July 11th (Mares) M'dn H'dle

W.J. Burke, trainer of Flowerpicker, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 1st July that his charge has had a wind operation since this run.

078C Munster Waste Managment H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pumbaa, trained by James Joseph Mangan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

078D Easter H'cap Hdle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sort It Out, trained by Edward P.Harty, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be sore in his hindquarters post race.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Blacklough, ridden by K.C. Sexton, placed first and Bridgequarter Girl, ridden by P.F. Mangan, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings and took no further action.

078G Corkracecourse.ie (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Eoin Griffin, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Dakota Fred. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that with two national hunt meetings and numerous point to points scheduled, he was unable to secure the services of a suitable rider, prior to declaration time. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation offered and took no further action.
