The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche replaced D.M. Grant on Water Sprite, trained by John Joseph Murphy (Race 1)(transport difficulties)

143B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Stewards fined T. Stack, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Folk Law, the winner of this race, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91.

143C Midsummer Sprint Stakes

W.J. Lee, rider of Cape Of Approval, trained by T. Stack, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well before loosing its action in the closing stages, was eased and dismounted quickly.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of An Saighdiur trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cape Of Approval, trained by T. Stack, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

143D Munster Oaks Stakes

P.J. Smullen, rider of Edelmira, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was feeling the ground in the closing stages.

143E Cork Derby

The Stewards received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary officer, Ms Nicola O'Connor, that having examined Mutual Regard, trained by J. P. Murtagh, she noticed what appeared to be a skin condition present and stated that a veterinary certificate did not accompany the horse on entering the stable yard as is required. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 148 and ordered the withdrawal of Mutual Regard from this race and reminded him of his future responsibilities in this regard.

J.P. O'Brien, rider of Cardinal Palace, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Erlkonig (GER), trained by Anthony Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making a respiratory noise post race.

Anthony Mullins, trainer of Erlkonig (GER), reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Wednesday 18th June that his chrage was found to have a serious throat infection post race.
