236A McHale Fusion 3 Range (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards advised Stephen Ryan, trainer of Monatierna, that a repeat of this mare's behaviour (very unruly at the start) may render her liable to suspension in future.

236B McHale Pro Glide Mower Range H'cap H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Bally Upper trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Heliers Bay, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

236C McHale Mayo Irish EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Morga trained by Desmond McDonogh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he felt his mount lose her action after finishing and he dismounted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Imperial Choice, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound to her right hind pastern and at the back of her right fore knee.

236D McHale Orbital Bale Wrapper H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Boston Babe trained by D.J.Barry was found to have a puncture wound to her left fore knee post race.

236E McHale Straw Blower & Silage Feeder S'ch

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Mengli Khan, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(c)(unnecessary when race clearly won) and having taken her record into account suspended her for 1 race day.

236F McHale Mayo National H'cap S'chase

J.S. McGarvey, rider of Portmore Lough trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Macgiloney trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Stewards interviewed H. Morgan, rider of Mind's Eye, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.

236G McHale Tiger Roll Beginners S'chase

D.F. O'Regan, rider of Line Out trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Stewards interviewed D.F. O'Regan, rider of Line Out, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.

The Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend after the third last involving Cuneo (FR), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and Line Out, ridden by D.F. O'Regan, where it appeared Line Out got tight for room on the inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered reports from both riders involved, the Stewards decided that no further action was warranted.
