214A Breaffy House Resort H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Quench The Flame (GB) trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

S. Foley, rider of Rising Euro, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel and stumbled about three furlongs from the finish.

214B Vaughan Shoes M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the final bend before the finish involving Pirate Cove, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed third and Falkirk, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed first, where it appeared that Pirate Cove received a severe check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by J.P. O'Brien riding carelessly and consequently suspended him for 1 raceday having taken his previous record into consideration.

214D Costello McDermott (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Definite Response, at the request of trainer, John Brassil, and reported the animal to have injured a left foreleg during the race.

214G Easyfix Rubber Products M'dn H'dle

A.P. Heskin, rider of Long House Saint, trained by Michael P. Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel and stumbled in the back straight.

P. Townend, rider of Five Hawk Wings trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

I.J. McCarthy, rider of Cloudy Flame, trained by John Brassil, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount pulled up making a respiratory noise.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Queen Of Thecastle trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running.
